With the quality of flash games ever increasing its becoming commonplace to see more and more strategy defense games with a great level of polish. Players wont give time of day to poorly made adventures with unprofessional art assets and are now requiring games with upgrades and at least a semblance of a story and characters. So here comes Nano Kingdoms from the team at Trutruka games development studio. Boasting resource management, multiple commanders and cool real time strategy fun.

The game starts you off with a helpful tutorial mission outlining the basics of game play,  you can deploy your units and command them to either attack or defend. As you gain spell magic you can summon different attacks from the skies, “Swords of punishment” sends giant swords down upon the enemy or “Call Of Duty” which produces multiple villagers to send into battle. After the tutorial finished and the scarecrow straw people defeated you are ready to move onto the actual war and defend the Nano Kingdom! You must  battle 8 Hero’s and once you defeat one you are granted the ability to play as them as you continue your quest. Each commander has its own unique magic spells which you can then use when you command them for your own.

You actually have to think in order to win, You cant simply spam units and expect to steamroll your opponent. Building your structures and getting the upgrades for your units is very important. Then choosing the correct amount of each unit, remember you can only have 10 units out at a time regardless of the type of unit. You don’t want a bunch of villagers out when you could have warriors and archers. Things get really hard at “Dark Blood III” you will be inundated with enemies before you even have foundry built. It also doesn’t help that the enemy starts out with a bunch of buildings already constructed.

The story serves just to take you from level to level and is not very engaging, however in this type of game it does not detract in the experience in any way. Cool music and fun game play means you can certainly have a lot of fun with this game if you can handle the difficulty in the later levels.

10 – Monster Truck Destroyer

A fun little game, control the truck and smash over the cars to collect the bombs. There are 12 levels and 3 unlock-able monster trucks, your health appears in the top left but its pretty hard to tip the vehicle as the game is quite easy. Certainly an enjoyable little romp even it ends quite quick.

9 – Gloomy Truck

Really cool cargo delivery game with great graphics and cool post apocalypse theme. All 9 levels have different cargo including crates, nuclear waste and even pulling along another pickup truck. Probably the best delivery truck game you can find on the internet.

8 – Thor Monster Truck

Excellent box2d powered carnage. You can design your own levels and share them with others,  Add cars and smash over all kinds of vehicles. The truck controls a little sensitively but It just adds to the challenge. A pretty unique game that adds some community sharing idea into the mix.

7 – Monster Truck Trip 2

Sequel to the popular “Monster truck Trip” with new and improved graphics and a different physics system. You can upgrade your truck with 3 different body’s and wheels.

6 – Monster Truck Maniac 3:

From the creator of the highly popular “Duck Life” comes the third and the best in this awesome series of launch games, Certainly a challenge as it gets really hard in the later levels.

5 – Truck Loader:

OK, its not really a “Truck Game” but its really fun none the less. Control the grabbing robot and load the crate onto the deliveries truck without getting yourself or the crates demolished.

4 – Monster Trucks 2

Has a nice selection of cars and upgrades and some cool graphics. Unfortunately the “Pro Cup” is only available at candystand.com but you can still have some good fun with the limited version of the game.

3 – Fish Truck

Certainly an original and well executed idea. Transport the glass container of fish to the destination and shoot the threatening birds and the same time. It can get pretty tough so watch out.

2 – Offroaders

Awesome semi-3d isometric racing game from kongregate.  10 different tracks and 9 unlock able cars all with different stats means you will be playing this game for a while.

1 – Truck Toss:

Truck toss is a great game with lots going for it. Ride your bouncy little truck across the sand racking up combos and gaining points. There are lots of obstacles and items to keep it interesting, and new cars and achievements to give it plenty of replay value.

Probably the best  place for cheap and quality music on the net. A very wide range of musical styles and background music at a relativity low price(ranges: $5 – $30). There sound effects range from only $1 -$3 however there selection is lacking compared to other sites.

I recomend you look at  Symphony of Specters, there music is of a very high quality and have a great selection in of themselves.

Ib-audio works a little different as it uses a credit system for one off downloads, however you can get a years unlimited downloads for roughly $200.
